The Consumer Electronics Show 2024
It was great to be presenting with PwC and HPE a range of digital twin technologies. While that was the focus for Umajin in 2024 I also got a chance to see the show and some of the new technologies which were a focus this year.
It was really interesting to see the increase in automotive, EV’s, medTech and ageTech.
The XPENG flying electric car was pretty crazy.
The EV farm and heavy equipment was a bit surprising – but in retrospect given you can keep the equipment charged it makes sense that machines like heavy rollers benefit from high torque at low speed from the electric motors and the weight of batteries!
The AARP and Samsung in particular had a strong presence with ageTech and some quite interesting offerings they had curated and supported.
